This is a beautiful knitting kit that includes a printed copy of the Sophie Scarf Knitting Pattern plus two balls of luxuriously soft   Enough to make one large scarf (image with white shirt), or two size small scarves (image with pink jumper).

A fabulous project to add an easy and luxurious hand knit to your wardrobe!  Baby Alpaca is lovely to knit and ever so soft to wear.  

This kit does not include needles, you will need to purchase these separately if needed.

The Sophie Scarf is worked back and forth in one piece, from tip to tip in garter stitch with built-in i-cord edges. The smaller size Sophie Scarf reaches around the neck once, while the larger size can wrap around the neck twice.

Yarn:  8ply / Double Knit

Meterage: 100 (125) metres.  Can be made with less or more - details in pattern to explain how.  This will impact finished measurements. 

Size: small (large)
Length from tip to tip: approx. 80 (102) cm 
Width at center: 11 (13) cm 

Needles: 3.5 mm [US4] / 60 cm circular needle.   
Can also be knitted on straight needles. 

Gauge: 

22 sts x 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm in garter stitch on a 3.5 mm [US4] needle

Level:  Advancing beginner.
